Emboss Mapping Setup
Emboss Mapping Setups allow you to map any character of any font to be used as
a character of another font.
Complete the following steps to map characters of a specific font to specified
ch
aracters of another font.
1. Select Ap
plications | Global Setups | Emboss Mapping Setup. The
properties screen opens.
2. Click Add. A properties row opens.
3. Select a
source font from the list and a source character in the text field.
4. Select a destination font from the list and a destination character in the text
field.
In the example shown in the figure
above, whenever the Cyrillic character ‘A’
is encountered during an emboss operation, an Elite character ‘A’ will be used
in its place.
5. Repe
at steps two through four for each mapping you want to create.
6. Click Save.
