Laminator LCD messages
LCD Message Possible Cause Solution
Jam (In) There is a card jam in the
entrance area.
Check that the laminator is properly connected to the
printer as described in
“Optional laminator
connection” on page 15.
See
“Card jam” on page 80 to clear the jam.
Jam (Middle) There is a card jam near
the heating roller.
The laminating temperature is too high or the speed is
too slow. Set the temperature or speed as described in
“Laminator tab” on page 38.

Jam (Out) There is a card jam in the
card discharge area.
The laminating temperature is too high or the speed is
too slow. Set the temperature or speed as described in
“Laminator tab” on page 38.

Film-B RunOut The end of the roll mark
has been detected.
Replace the laminating material as described in
“Load
top side laminate film” on page 12
Film-B Search The laminator is searching
for laminate material.
Check that the laminating film is correctly loaded as
described in “Load top side laminate film” on
page 12
.
Check that the type of laminating film in use and the
settings are appropriate.
Film-T RunOut The end of the roll mark
has been detected.
Replace the laminating material as described in
“Load
bottom side laminate film” on page 13
Film-T Search The laminator is searching
for laminate material.
Check that the laminating film is correctly loaded as
described in “Load bottom side laminate film” on
page 13

Check that the type of laminating film in use and the

Door Open The laminator door is
open.
Install the laminator cartridge as described in
“Load
top side laminate film” on page 12
.
Press the RESET/ and then the ENTER key to
initialize the laminator.
No Cassette The film cartridge is not
inserted.
Insert the film cartridge.
Thermostat The thermostat is not
connected.
Turn the power switch off, and then back on. Contact
your service provider if this does not correct the
condition.
HR-B Overheat Heating roller temperature
error (temperature is too
high).
Turn the power switch off, and then back on. Contact
your service provider if this does not correct the
condition.
Overheat-B Internal temperature error
(temperature is too high).
Turn the power switch off, and then back on. Contact
your service provider if this does not correct the
condition.
